Classful IP addressing

Classful IP addressing uses the first 4 bits (i.e. bit0, bit1, bit2, and bit3) of an IP address to separate all IP addresses into 5 different classes (Class A, B, C, D, E)

Note: Due to the limitations, the classful IP addressing scheme is NOT used in practice now.
