From Sunday 5th April SALSA VIVA aims to resuscitate the day of rest and lay down an extravaganza of Latin rhythm; a last supper for the feet EVERY Sunday from dusk 'til dawn. And if your eyes are bigger than your feet? -Don't worry. Beginners' and Improvers' Salsa classes starting at 6:30pm, kick off the night. Running concurrently, these classes are open to all, with or without partner, it really doesn't matter. At the end of the day the Latin boogie is rooted in overcoming all boundaries, and the number one aim is to create fun and enjoyment through simple instruction.

One of secrets behind Salsa dancing simply lies in a man's ability to lead and the woman's improvisations upon that ability, which doesn't mean a woman can't or shouldn't ask a man to dance and sweep him off his feet. However, HK men seem to be in short supply when it comes to Salsa and consequently in more demand than ever when the night really begins.

From 8pm onwards, with music sourced directly from London and Japan on a regular basis, we'll be dropping the freshest tropical Salsa through to the classics.

The lashings of Salsa will mixed with Merengue, together with a sprinkling of Mambo, Cuban Son, Charanga and Pachanga, all sandwiched between the funkiest of Salsa reggae to shake that booty to in the regular group dances. There will also be a dash of Samba for those who want to shake more than just their booty.

Come along and savour the musical juicy fruits whilst adjusting your limbs to a definite tropical swing factor.

Love the music, feel the rhythm, and everything else will follow............
