   There was a typo in the indices of eq (2). This was fixed Oct 26, 5PM
   Page 2, last line above box.  To clear up any ambiguity x_j was changed to \hat x_j (on Oct 28, 8AM)
   There was a typo in the box of problem 2. x was changed to \hat x. Also some more explanation was added. (Oct 28, 8AM)
