The class will have two exams (one midterm and one final).
For examples as to the type of material that will be examined and how it will be tested please see the following three exams from the Fall 2002 semester
and the following two exams from the Fall 2003 semester
Please note that the class structure has changed a bit; in Fall 2002 there were three exams whereas in Fall 2003 and this semester there will only be two. Also, a few of the questions on those exams cover material that we will not be seeing (whereas we might see some material not on those exams). But, in general, most of the questions from those exams, could be asked on our exam.
