Project Website of ωDroid

Overview

ωDroid project aims to characterize and detect WebView-induced bugs (ωBugs for short) in real-world Android applications. In this project, we conducted an empirical study on 124 real-world ωBugs collected from 51 open-source Android apps. Our study uncovered common features of the root cause, consequence, and manifestation of these ωBugs. In this website, we released our project dataset (including empirical study subject apps, bug dataset, and evaluation subject apps) and an open-source tool to facilitate future research.
