For the final project, students can form groups of 1 to 3
Each group must choose a topic by March 22, 2011, and submit a 1-2 page proposal by that date. Proposals are to cover: topic, dataset, suggested approach and related works, and evaluation metrics.
Topics: a) a subtask of ACM KDDCUP 2011, b) a social network mining topic based on reasonably large benchmark social network data
