Instructions

  1. Each presentation (without any discussion part) lasts for at least 45 minutes and at most 1 hour 30 minutes.
  2. The duration of the group meeting depends on
    1. the duration of the presentation
    2. the duration of the discussion
  3. For the presenter,
    1. please read the paper in details
    2. please prepare a PPT for the presentation
    3. try to present the following.
      1. the major idea of the paper
      2. some important details of the paper
    4. please prepare a printed version of your PPT for each attendant
    5. please prepare a printed version of the paper you will present for each attendant
    6. please prepare any additional material for each attendant
    7. please send an electronic copy of all materials (PPT, paper and other materials) to me after the group meeting
  4. For each attendant,
    1. please listen carefully during the talk
    2. please raise any questions you want to ask during the talk
    3. I may ask you to do the following
      1. summarize what the presenter presented
      2. clarify some points in the talk
      3. discuss any possible research directions
